Welcome to My Personal Website! ---> Request Your FREE 18-Point Roof Inspection

Hello, my name is Todd Martin. I am an Insurance Claim Consultant and a Project Manager for Interstate Roofing, Inc. specializing in re-roofing, restoration and insurance claims.  I chose to work with Interstate Roofing because it is one of the elite roofing companies in the nation, having achieved the highest endorsements in the industry and  an A+ rating with the BBB.  No other company comes close to having the credientials and reputation as Interstate does.  However, I want to make it clear that this is my personal website which I have put together so that you can have the opportunity to get to know a bit about me and my claims recovery process prior to meeting me in person when I inspect your roof for any hail/wind damage and discuss your options.

My style and approach is a bit different than the typical roofer you may have encountered. What best describes my style and my attitude toward my clients is that I treat every job as if it were my own roof. I have handled hundreds of insurance claims and am familiar with the guidelines of most insurance companies and therefore am able to help my clients navigate the murky waters of the insurance claims process that oftertimes seems overwhelming.

So, please, take your time, peruse my website, read what some of my past clients are saying about the service they have received from me and Interstate Roofing, Inc and get to know me a bit better.  And, if our values present a common basis for business, give me a call so we can begin a discussion about how I may be able to serve you and help you avoid many of the costly pitfalls of the claims process.

CONSUMER ALERT - HOMEOWNERS BEWARE

When hail strikes, new roofing companies spring up overnight and roofers come out of the woodwork chasing storm damage. Many of these are unlicensed roofers from out-of-state and try to entice you with practices that would be considered insurance fraud (e.g., offers to "pay" your deductible; in fact, the very offer by a contractor to help with your deductible is illegal).

Therefore, my goal is to give you the facts so that you can make an informed decision vs. being 'sold' on a company and acting on 'blind faith'.  Let the facts and credentials speak for themselves to find the right company and the right consultant to trust to help you navigate the insurance and repair process. Click on Why Choose Interstate  to find out why Interstate Roofing, Inc. is the right roofing company and click on Why Choose Me to find out why I am the right insurance claim consultant.

Has Your Neighborhood Been Hit
with Damaging Hail?

FREE 18-Point Roof Inspection

Why do I need my roof checked? Most of the time you can’t see hail damage from the ground and a lot of the time, and untrained eye won’t recognize significance of the hail damage even if on the roof. Hail can make holes in shingles, bruise shingles and loosen the shingle granules, and damage flashing, vents, skylights, and cause leaks. If shingles are only bruised, after heat, freezing and thawing cycles have occurred, these hail bruised spots start to show more and more as granules fall out of the bruised areas. Granules are the UV protection for the asphalt in shingles. Without the UV protection, the sun at this high altitude will destroy the shingles. If this damaged is recognized and meets specific insurance guidelines, most insurance companies will pay to have your entire roof replaced before the situation gets any worse.

The Process - Inspection to Claim

If the hail damage is severe enough to 'total' the roof and warrant full roof replacement under your specific insurance company’s guidelines, I will review with you how I can assist you in making the insurance claim and roof replacement process as simple and stress-free as possible.

Here’s how the process works:

I do a precursory, FREE 18-Point Roof Inspection to see if you have enough damage according to your insurance company’s claim guidelines, and if so ...

  1. You (or we together) call your insurance company and open a claim.
  2. Then, I coordinate with your insurance company’s adjuster to ensure that your adjuster is aware of all the damage that I discovered in my original inspection.
  3. Assuming  your adjuster agrees with my inspection results, he/she will turn his/her findings into your insurance company, and, in most situations
  4. Your insurance companny will pay to replace your roof and fix any qualifying exterior damage.  We deal directly with your insurance company from that point forward, simplifying the process for you.  You just pick the color, collect a couple of insurance checks and pays us for a job well done.  It's that simple.

If your home happens to have the older style T-Lock shingle, insurance companies require only very minimal hail or wind damage to pay to replace the entire roof as the T-Lock is a discontinued shingle. If you have a T-Lock, you should definitely have your roof inspected. Also, any roof that is 8-10+ years is beginning to become brittle and is especially susceptible to damage from even moderate hail.

Please Note: This is a FREE, NO-OBLIGATION inspection

While I am primarily looking for wind and hail damage, as a courtesy during my inspection, I will also look for and advise you on all additional potential points of damage and maintenance that may need attention to prevent a leak or other hazards.

Give me a call. Let’s discuss your options and schedule a time for your free inspection. If you do have hail or wind damage, my team and I can help make the entire insurance claim process as simple, straight-forward and pain-free as possible. If you do not have damage, you’ll have the peace of mind of knowing that your roof is in good condition and whether or not there are any maintenance items that need to be taken care of.
